Pioneers Going Wild!

Pioneers Festival – the two day start-up and tech conference with its three nights of partying in Vienna’s hottest clubs is coming up! What conclusions could be drawn from that?  Right – we won’t get a lot of sleep, but at the same time we’ll have a ton of fun! The “off-track” side event program consists of mind-opening entrepreneurial gatherings and mind-blowing, kick ass parties.

There’s a lot going on besides the on-site Festival program at the Hofburg – We have a variety of national and international focus events. First of all: Every focus event (as well as every party) is included in the ticket price, so feel free to join any event you want at any time. For our international friends and pioneers who can’t make it to the Festival in Vienna we have three amazing focus events abroad, including London, Portugal and New York City, where General Assembly is going to stream Pioneers Festival! If you feel like getting out of the Hofburg for a couple of hours you might want to join one of our focus events in Vienna. On Monday for example there is a Live-Pitching of Austrian Game start-ups hosted by Subotron/WKW at the Museumsquartier in Vienna. Another focus event will host Björn Lasse Hermann and Thomas Funke, who are going to talk about how to close the gap between idea generation and the start-up phase.

But I think we’ve been talking enough about what’s going to happen at Pioneers Festival, who is going to come and why you shouldn’t miss it. Let’s be honest, what Festival would it be if there were no parties? You’re absolutely right – it wouldn’t be a Festival. Are you ready to rumble 24/7?! We are!

Our party marathon starts Monday night where you can choose between four amazing locations and parties, including the MLOVE Party at lutz bar and a party at Scotch Club. Tuesday is going to be just as awesome: Hang out with interesting people and old friends you met during the day at the conference and grab a beer or two together. That’s only Day Two and believe me, Wednesday is going to be crazy – besides awesome Talks and Panels at the Hofburg there will be the Grand Finale of the Pioneers Challenge during the day and at night there is our HUGE Halloween Afterparty at the Säulenhalle, right next to the Hofburg. Oh yes! Our last Festival day is going to be October 31st – Halloween – so let’s salute to Frankenstein & Co, dress up as scary, freaky and hilarious as possible. Trick or treat: At every location we have special drink offers for all Pioneers Festival participants! Try to get some sleep the week before the Festival, because you’ll need the energy for the three days that you are going to spend with us! See you soon…
